Title: The Beatles - Let It Be - Box Set

Record Guide Description: Box Set dark green label red Apple logo on rear sleeve & white inner, with Get Back book housed in black card tray (PXS 1 Not Listed On Package). Garrod & Lofthouse Limited sleeve.

Condition:

BOX SLEEVE:

The outer sleeve is in fantastic shape the front is laminated and is clean, the edges have picked up some wear from use but it remains stuck together and in one piece. The bottom edge has two small areas that have been chipped away to reveal the white card, but they have not split and are very small.

The top right corner has been bent back slightly and remains slightly creased (this is the only real damage to this sleeve) but it has not torn and remains square and box shaped.

INNER HOUSING FOR BOOKLET:

This consists of two "black card" interlocking pieces, they go together to form a surround for the book to sit in, it has some wear from use but again remains (quite remarkably) in one piece. They are both intact and free from rips and breakages. 

THE BOOK: The Beatles Get Back

This is first class it has been looked at but has no signs of any serious damage and is packed with behind the scenes photos.

THE LP SLEEVE AND VINYL:

The sleeve is excellent it has some slight creases around the edges but the laminate has not split and it is clean and clear.

The inner sleeve is original and intact and is white paper.

The vinyl has been held up to the light and has some very minor marks, as usual we have played the LP and it has no serious sound defects and remains clean and bright.

Bothe labels are also clean and free from writing.

OVERALL: 

As this was a fairly complicated piece of package design, the problems that could have occurred when removing the LP (and getting at the book) were likely to cause substantial damage. But fortunately the original owner has taken care to remove and replace the items in the box very carefully.

This is easily the best shape we have ever seen this LP Box Set in, normally it is totally obliterated and is barely worth looking at. Which altogether makes this a very nice piece of original Beatles memorabillia.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects

We will then pack it between two specially designed stiff card envelope inserts then seal your item with a ‘fragile’ marked tape along the opening.
