For sale is this un-official Bootleg Double Album (Two Disc set) of the Beatles Live in Concert on the “Worlds Records” ("ZAP" Records) label. One disc is mostly The Beatles concert at Nippon Budokan, Tokyo, Japan on July 2, 1966. On this disc, side #1, track #9 is “Ain’t She Sweet” which the Beatles recorded on June 22, 1961 in Hamburg, Germany. On side #2 tracks # 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 were not from the concert in Tokyo, however tracks #7, 8, & 9 are from the Tokyo concert. Tracks 1 – 6 were added as filler. I don’t know where they were from. *** indicates songs that were not from the Tokyo concert.

The other disc is mostly from the un-official album “The Beatles Live from Whiskey Flat, Atlanta”, Which strangely enough was not recorded at Whiskey Flat Atlanta, GA, but was actually recorded live at The Philadelphia Convention Hall on September 2, 1964, during the afternoon show. Tracks # 7 & 8 on side #1 were not from this concert, but are demo tracks that sound like Pete Best was playing drums on. Tracks 7 & 8 on side #2 were not from the Philadelphia show either. I don’t know where they were from. *** indicates songs that were not from the Philadelphia Convention Hall concert.

This double record set is a great commemorative of how good The Beatles really were as a band, playing live despite the fact that they couldn’t hear themselves sing or play because of all the screaming girls. These records really take you back to experience the phenomena of the days of Beatlemania when the Beatles still played live in concert and all the world listened.

The discs grade VERY GOOD+ with no major condition issues.
