Golden Treasure for the Vinyl Collector!!!!
I have been asked for the Tax Codes & Mother Stampers on both sides of
the record - Tax code - ZT with 1 underneath it = 10 Apr 1962 according
to discogs. Mothers are (or other markings on the runout) MP above the ZT. 180 degrees opposite on side 1 is R  R. Side 2 is as above but 180 degrees opposite is RG. There are no other stampings on the record! Given the above information I believe this to be the earliest copy,
if you know different then either bid accordingly or do not bid at all as
I am not a specialist in vinyl, I am just selling my own vast collection of
vinyl!

Here we have my very own "Ultra Rare" original first pressing copy of The Beatles - Love Me Do. Note: This is a first pressing! The numbers on the runout are as follows - 7XCE-17144-1N & the numbers on the side 1 label are 7XCE 1744. If you think it is not a first pressing from these numbers, PLEASE DO NOT BID!
I have played two versions of this record and can say that there is no tambourine on this recording which also adds weight to the fact that it IS the earliest recording made! It is a Single, 45 rpm with a 4 prong centre. 1962 first pressing on the red Parlophone Record Label. The catalogue number is 45-R 4949
The "B" side is P.S. I Love You. The numbers on the runout are as follows
7XCE 17145 -1N. I purchased this single in 1962 myself!
The vinyl has the usual fine surface scratches and blemishes associated with vinyl of this age but I have test played both sides and can say they both play without any jumping or skipping issues. Again there are the usual crackling sounds when played whic may be improved by professionallydeep cleaning the vinyl. It has good lustre.
The sleeve went missing at a party which is a shame but the record survived!

I would rate the vinyl based on the description above as Very Good and comes in a new generic white sleeve.

Vinyl Grade - Please read.
MINT - Possibly unplayed - excellent condition through out!
NEAR MINT (NM): This record has the lightest of light surface scratches on the vinyl. It should play without any problem.   EXCELLENT (EX): Minor scuffs which are visible. There may be more than a few scuffs. It should play without any problem!
VERY GOOD (VG): Record shows wear and / or surface scuffs. The vinyl still has great luster, but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye. The flaws may cause minor surface noise.
GOOD (G) Record has visible scratches / scuffs but plays without jumping / skipping.
FAIR (F) Record may jump or skip but worth having in the collection.
Cover & Sleeve Grade - Please Read.
MINT (M): No stickers, address labels, writing on the covers or labels. No tears or seam splits. No wear to the cover. 
NEAR MINT (NM): The cover looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and/or age. . EXCELLENT (EX): Artwork is still fair. Some impression to the cover (minor outer ring wear),  but no ink wear! Some creases to the corners, but not wrinkled and obtrusive to the eye.
VERY GOOD (VG): The artwork looks ok with slightly more aging. The back of the cover usually gives  away the age of the cover. Flat white paper will be somewhat yellow, yet no stains or mildew from water damage. Some wear to the seams or spine, but no tears or holes popping through.
GOOD (G) Covers may have edge damage, may have creases in more than one place and yellowing.
FAIR (F)  Covers have tears, edge and opening damage, ink marks / writing.
GOOD A few creases and minor tears.
