Description
THE BEATLES - " LOVE ME DO / P.S. I LOVE YOU ", Parlophone/EMI Records Ltd. (45-R 4949) Mono, 1962.
Rare, 1962 original UK issue single with red label and company sleeve.
CONDITION:
VINYL = V.G.- (This particular copy has obviously been handled quite carefully in it's life time, but played very heavily indeed. It only suffers some light surface marks and looks a lot better than most copies I find of this record. But on playback, as the heavy spindle trails suggest, it doesn't sound great and has definitely been either played a hell of a lot or on a very poor turntable. There aren't the clicks and clunks that afflict so many heavily scratched copies of this 45, but there's some surface noise and the music plays with a lot of distortion. Still a collectable item, but I realise that it will only be worth a fraction of a clean copy.
SLEEVE = V.G++ (Has some very light creases, plus a bit of wear to the edges, a tiny blue pen mark and a slight split in the bottom edge. Despite all this, still not a bad example and definitely not completely ruined - see photo for more)
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!)
NOTE: I must point out that we are actually a long standing physical record shop, with many decades worth of selling, trading and grading records under our collective belts. Unlike so many of the jokers now selling records on ebay, we know how to grade records. Before bidding, please read my description carefully, decide how much this record is worth to you and place you max bid accordingly. Please also feel free to check out my feedback from the many other successful transactions I have made in the past.
ANY QUESTIONS? PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO GET IN TOUCH!
