Catalogue No. 45-R 4949.
This is a first issue of The Beatles UK debut single release, released on the 5th October 1962 on the red parlophone record labels without the Made in Great Britain label text and a missing bracket at the end of the composer credits on side 2 and is shown as (Lennon-McCartney additionally the composer credits on the Love Me Do label are out of line with the title.
Side 1 matrix & Stampers, 7XCE 17144-1N & PZT 1 G M 1. G. Side 2, 7XCE 17145-1 N & PZT 1 G R.
The single plays with powerful sound quality on both tracks with just very mild background static on the run-ins, on playback there were no clicks, pops or skips, an easy 8/10 for sound quality.
RECORD LABELS.
Both record labels are in Excellent Plus condition and show just a few centre spindle lines. Side 2 record label has a PT Tax Code.
VINYL SURFACES.
Both vinyl surfaces are in superb Excellent Plus condition, super clean surfaces to both sides with just a few hairlines, there are no scratches or scuffs.
THE COMPANY BAG.
The Parlophone Company Bag is in Excellent condition.
