THE BEATLES   LP   REVOLVER  1966  uk 1st press   PMC 7009 side 2 matrix  606-1  which is stereo !!!  so it's MONO side 1 and STEREO side 2 with the gramophone co ltd   with miss print "DR. ROBERT" on the record and cover sleeve  with the long version of tomorrow never knows  the record is in good/fair condition plays all the way through jumps no skips  but has a few scratches so clicks and pops on some tracks
the cover is in very good condition  comes with emitex sleeve in very good + condition  no splits just creased
printed by garrod & lofthouse ltd  patents pending
there is a tiny chip in the run on to side one the first three grooves does not affect the first track you just have to put the stylus a bit further in there is still some run in before the track starts    this is the mispress that is in the rare record collector guide but it doesn't say much about it

don't know if this is true but this copy was a mistake that was fixed after about an hour of pressing. so depending on how many copies they could produce in an hour in those days is about how many copies of this where available.
on average it take 20 minutes each side to press so i would say only 5 - 10 copies ? if anybody has any other info then please let me know

GRADING SYSTEM:  using the rare record collectors guide

MINT: The record itself is in new condition and sealed

NEAR MINT: The record itself is in new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

The cover and extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Slight spindle ware possible sleeve marks

The cover and extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster might have slight wear and/ or creasing

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

The cover and extras have normal wear and tear no splits

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of the edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

I do not list records below this grade unless it relates to the cover which sometimes can be poor

The + sign means that it is closer to being in the grade above

The – sign means that it is closer to the grade below

All records will be checked before posting to ensure they were listed correctly
