- THE BEATLES Let It Be Rare 1970 First Pressing Vinyl Album w Red Apple Labels
- The Beatles released "Let It Be," their 12th and final studio album in May 1970 on Apple Records. It came out a month after the group broke-up and coincided with the release of the movie of the same name. It quickly hit No. 1 in both the U.S. and U.K.
- This is a very rare copy (AR 34001, JS-17500) of the first pressing which is identifiable by the Red Apple logo labels on the disc and the fact that the track Maggie Mae was misidentified with a credit to P.D. (public domain) which was later corrected to the band member's names. Even more interesting is that Phil & Ronnie (as in Spector) is etched in the dead wax on these early copies which also carry a Bell Sound marking.
