The Beatles' 45 rpm recording of
Love Me Do / P.S. I Love You
Tollie Records #9008
Up for auction is an empty picture sleeve from 1964 from a Beatles' recording. It measures approximately 7" square.
CONDITION
Front: 3 tiny holes upper right from removed staple. Faint record imprint. Crease lower right corner.
Back: 2 adjacent holes w tears from removed staple on upper right + 2 small holes on upper left opposite front holes.
Prominent record imprint. In fact, it feels like a narrow ridge for a 3" spread in upper right corner going through
Paul's head.
1 1/2" crinkle that can be felt in blue space in upper left of box.
Crease lower left corner. Rubs along seamed sides.
Overall: Light wrinkles and creases. Seamed edges intact. Colors all good.
HISTORY
This sleeve is one of many that I found as I was downsizing my attic. It belonged to my children back in the 60s.
