Description
A genuine first mono pressing of the Magical Mystery Tour EP on the black & silver Parlophone label. This double EP is housed in a superb ‘Book Sleeve’ with wonderful illustrations and a blue insert with all the lyrics. On the inside back cover is one of he earliest mention of ‘Apple’ and the producer is listed as “Big George Martin”.
The catalogue number is Parlophone MMT-1
Sleeve The original elaborate Book Sleeve is in excellent condition with a little corner wear top/bottom of spine and one staple missing.Blue insert is unattached.
Vinyl Visually the 4 sides of the glossy black vinyls appear to be in excellent condition.The sound quality is superb on sides 1,2 & 4 with surface noise on side 3 (Fool on the Hill)
Labels The black& silver Parlophone labels,with four-pronged Push-out centres are all in excellent+ condition. The labels feature the ‘Gramaphone Co Ltd’ text and ‘Sold in the UK,subject’ text.
