Description
THE BEATLES MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR GERMAN APPLE SHZE 327 A1/B3 TRUE STEREO G+
1C 072-04 449
German Electrola EMI pressing c.1980. This is widely regarded as the best sounding true stereo pressing of this album.
Matrices -
SHZE 327 A1 04449-A-1
SHZE 327 B3 04449-B-3
These are the same matrices as the previous Horzu issues from the 1970s.
Condition: G+
Vinyl - Superb sheen on the vinyl, with only a few hairline scratches, which do not affect playback.
Labels - Virtually mint. Labels are clean and free of any marks or writing. Absolutely no spindle marks.
Sound - Sound is true stereo throughout, clear and punchy. This copy does crackle and pop in places, with slight groove wear on Baby You're A Rich Man.
There is also standard vinyl crackle on run-in and run-out grooves, and inbetween tracks. If anything I've downgraded this to be as honest as possible.
Cover - Fully intact. Front cover still retains a vibrant sheen, just some shelfwear to edges. Spine is still clear and legible. Rear cover does suffer from a mark where a sticker was presumably removed previously (see pic 7). Embossed EMI logo in bottom right-hand corner.
No reserve.
I will dispatch in a Music Max mailer.
