THE BEATLES

”Magical Mystery Tour”

Capitol Records MAS-2835

Incredibly rare monaural copy The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour, the last of The Beatles original US albums to be issued in Mono that was pressed for several weeks. It's very hard to find this album in such a great condition. The original cardboard gatefold cover remains in a distributor Sears baggy and includes a fully intact 24-page booklet. This is a very early 1st East Coast release copy, pressed at the Capitol Records' Scranton, Pennsylvania pressing plant as identified the "IAM" stamp in the dead wax of the vinyl. The cover contains the "MAL 2835" catalog number at the bottom of the back cover and "Manufactured by Capitol Records, Inc., Hollywood and Vine Streets, Hollywood, Calif..." at the bottom left. The cover is in great condition without a ring wear on the front and back, very clean, only having some light discoloration at the mouth and spine. The edges and spine with a fully readable text don’t have any wear, except for a very little spot at the center of the spine. The interior gatefold is also in a beautiful condition, only having some light discoloration on the booklet’s title page and front panel at the mouth. ‘’No You’re Not’’ is written in the same typeface as ‘’Little Nicola’’ The baggy has definitely done its job in preserving the cover well. The baggy contains two red ‘’Sears, Roebuck and Co.’’ logos in the opposite corners, having a few missing pieces at the mouth. I grade the vinyl Side I as Excellent Minus and Side II as Very Good Plus Plus due to a two inch non-reelable mark and a few scuffs from the paper inner sleeve. The unique 1st print Scranton labels with a 1.5’ pressing ring and BMI credited to all the songs are very clean without any wear, except for few barely noticeable spindle marks.

POLICY:

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid. Unfortunately, I don't ship to Germany or Russia. I apologize to the buyers from these countries in advance.
