Description
A 1967 Los Angeles pressing of the Magical Mystery Tour in MONO. The runout on side 1 has the etched number: MAL-1-2835-G-2 followed in a couple of inches by the * (starburst) that indicates a L.A. press); runout on side 2: MAL-2-2835-G-2 followed at length by *. Starbursts/asterisks pictured in pictures # 15, 16. The "Produced in England by George Martin" is on one line on both sides. "No you're not" text on inside cover is written in cursive.
THE INTERIOR BOOKLET IS INTACT, FASTENED WITH STAPLES, AS IT CAME, TO THE JACKET. No tears or stains.
VINYL: I don't remember playing this record more than a couple of times back in the late 60's, so the playing surfaces do not have any major issues. I see a couple of light rubs but no scratches. No, I cannot play it now.
JACKET: The jacket does have some issues: some stains on the surfaces, toning on the interior edges, and insect damage on the spine (see last 3 pictures).
INNER SLEEVE: It is original and has toned with age; also a small tear.
