THE BEATLES – MILLION SELLERS & MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS 1965/1967 7" VINYL EPs. VERY GOOD++/VERY GOOD CONDITION

The Fab Four’s tenth and thirtieth EP releases, the first reaching No.1 in the UK EP charts, the second reached No.2.

I’ve listed each EP below with gradings for vinyl, labels and sleeves. Plus Catalogue Numbers, Matrix and Stampers. With a few additional notes. I think this covers all the relevant information, but if you would like any further information I’d be happy to try and provide it.

Stampers:  A side: 2 GD; B side 1 M (KT is stamped at 12 o/clock)
Gradings (Vinyl/Label/Sleeve): VG++/EX/VG     
1st press Vinyl has lots of fine hairlines and surface marks, one noticeable scratch (not deep or feelable). Labels have just a few spindlemarks otherwise very clean. They have the later withdrawn “Golden Discs” text, P1963/P1964 text, Gramophone rimtext with “Sold in the UK” text and KT stamp. The cover has one noticeable crease to front and a little laminate lift to front top left, a little light rim wear, minimal storage wear to edges/corners. There has been sellotape around the opening edge and this has left a dark residue to rear (see photos). The external flipbacks are intact.

Gradings (Vinyl/Label/Sleeve): VG/EX/EX
1st press Vinyl has lots of  fine hairlines and surface marks and a few light scratches. All four labels have some light spindle wear (side 4 has some centre hole wear) otherwise very clean. They have P1967 text, Gramophone rimtext, “Sold in the UK” text and KT stamp. The cover has just a couple of creases to the rear. Some storage wear to corners. Inside the gatefold is clean with just some light age discolouration and handling marks. The external flipbacks are intact. The booklet is in Excellent condition, complete and all still intact and attached to the cover by staples, includes original blue lyric sheet in the centre. Just a small stain to the bottom of the first page. White inner sleeves are excellent just some creasing. One wavy top and one straight top.

These are a really nice pair of EPs, both very collectable 1st pressings.

I have been a Beatles fan since the day I sat down in 1973 to listen to the ‘Blue Album’. As a young lad this was the first time I had consciously listened to the band. From the first few bars of Strawberry Fields Forever, I was hooked. So it is with a very heavy heart that I now have to sell my vinyl collection!  I have been selling a number of items recently but now need to let the vinyl go. I am not a dealer, so please accept my gradings as being as honest as I can make them without a professional background or equipment. Unless stated the gradings are visual, as I just don’t have the time to play grade everything.

Each record will be removed from it’s original sleeve and dispatched in a plain white sleeve. Both sleeve and record will be placed in an individual protective, clear PVC sleeve and dispatched in a record mailer with stiffeners.

I always obtain a proof of posting from Post Office.

To ensure all items are traceable when sending overseas, I will only use Royal Mail’s International Tracked service. Ebay/Paypal insist that they will only credit or believe the items have been sent, when the seller can provide a tracking number. So that is how I will send all my Beatles items outside the UK. This may make my postage charges a little higher than some other sellers but it provides peace of mind to myself and the buyer.
