Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my rare Beatles, Beatles Related and Rolling Stones records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare German 1st pressing of The Beatles – My Bonnie b/w The Saints on the ORANGE Polydor Scroll label, cat. no. 24 673. This pressing has the “ROCK” credit and plays the GERMAN intro version on My Bonnie.
The record is in G to VG minus condition, there quite some hairlines and marks on the record. I’ve test played this record and plays with moderate background noise, especially during the intro of “My Bonnie”. When the music gets louder, the background noise is much less disturbing. The labels are in VG condition, there is some writing and a sticker on the A side label, the B-side label looks much better, with only a “K” written on it in small biro.
The record comes with an original German Polydor company sleeve, which is in VG condition. There is some slight wear along the opening edge and there are two tape repaired tears on the front.
Although far from mint condition, this very first German pressing of The Beatles’ My Bonnie single with GERMAN INTRO is extremely hard to find. There were only a handful made of this copy before replacing the German intro for the English verion. This pressing was the only one ever made with the German intro and is not offered very regular on Ebay. This is a real opportunity to complete your life-time Beatles record collection! A must have for all Beatles records collectors! Happy Bidding!
