Beautiful copy of the rare original 1967 mono pressing of the Beatles’ Magical Mystery Tour LP on Capitol MAS-2835. Los Angeles pressing with the asterisk in the runoffs. “No You’re Not” written on inside cover in script form, and the booklet is complete. Most of you know the mixes on the mono version are a bit different from the stereo version, which is the only version most of us have heard. This mono mix was only in print once in 1967, until its much later reissued versions more recently, which are mastered with all modern equipment and sound totally different from this original. A rare version of this record indeed! The disc is just beautiful and plays completely flawlessly. There are a few very light superficial scuffs but they are entirely superficial and don’t affect the plays at all. Really quite clean and very nice. The cover is also exceptionally clean as well, with no edge or corner wear, no ring wear, no splits or stains or creases or marks. Really amazingly crisp and clean. The only flaw is that the bottom of the two staples on the booklet is torn through from the second page. See photos. It is still attached but that lower part is loose and must be treated with care. You could probably find a way to fix it. Still it is in just beautiful shape, with no further damage at all to the booklet’s pages. I would call the cover NM except for that staple. Just a lovely copy inside and out. Very hard to beat.
