Description
- The Beatles released their second album "Meet The Beatles!" in January 1964 on Capitol Records. It zoomed to No. 1 on the charts where it stayed for eleven weeks before being passed by the band's "Second Album." The release was preceded a month earlier by the No. 1 single "I Want To Hold Your Hand." It's filled with iconic songs including "I Saw Her Standing There" and "All My Loving."
- This copy of (ST-2047) is from a 1983 pressing and is in excellent condition. The cover has its gloss and shows only the slightest wear and is Near-Mint for a 38-year-old album. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays perfectly for 11 of 12 tracks but has skips on track B1 ("Don't Bother Me") so I rate it VG. It was mastered by Capitol and this copy was pressed at the Capitol Records plant in Jacksonville, Illinois. The Side One dead wax is etched 0 ST1-2047-G27 and stamped MASTERED BY CAPITOL.
- This album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.
- Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.
- Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
