Description
Available here is an original 7" EP by The Beatles - No 1. It was issued in the UK by Parlophone in 1963 and bears the catalogue number GEP 8883.
An authoritative Beatles website confirms that this particular item is an original 1st pressing, with all of the necessary identification points. This one has a solid centre and in addition to the printed labels, the inner rings of the two sides of the vinyl bear the requisite etched matrix numbers - 7TCE 764-1N & 7TCE 765-1N. However, there were three slightly different early pressings of this item, all of which had minor variations in record label or sleeve appearance. This is the 1st pressing with the Garrod & Lofthouse printed sleeve. Please see my images for closer inspection.

Side 1 - I Saw Her Standing There / Misery
Side 2 - Anne (Go To Him) / Chains
Vinyl Condition - Excellent - The disc is bright and clean with two or three light surface marks but no worrying scratches. I’ve listened to both sides and can confirm that there is no jumping, sticking or clicks. A degree of background crackle is present but not overly obtrusive.
Sleeve Condition - Excellent - Original picture sleeve which is free from any tears, splits, nicks or serious creasing. Light pressure marks by the outside edge, centre disc impression/marks front and back (but only evident if angled against the light).
