Description
The Beatles ~ Nowhere Man Parlophone GEP 8952
1966 UK mono first pressing of the penultimate Beatles EP, issued in July 1966 and featuring four cuts from Rubber Soul. Labels have the 'Sold in UK' text which is missing from the later pressings.
Matrix numbers are: side 1: 7TCE 904-1 side 2: 7TCE 905-1
Stamper codes are: side 1: 1-H side 2: 1-GD
Record Condition: EXCELLENT Beautiful gleaming vinyl which retains all of it's original sheen. On close inspection there are just a few very light surface scuffs visible. Both labels look great with just some light spindle wear. Sound quality is also excellent overall. On 'Michelle' there is light surface noise audible, while the other three cuts sound absolutely superb.
Cover Condition: VG++ No seam splits. There is a lamination crease on the front bottom/left corner (this is not replicated on the back), and some other light laminate creases/wrinkles. There is also a light record impression ring. The back is very clean, just a couple of very light handling marks. Even with these minor flaws, this cover still looks superb. The original white inner is in excellent shape with no splits.
I will of course package the record separately from the cover so there will be no seam splitting in transit.
