THE BEATLES

RAIN
This single, while not the most difficult of The Beatles' to find, is unusual in that it is in such pristine condition - perfect for the record collector who may wish to improve the condition of certain items in his/her collection. I was tempted to grade it Near Mint, but have settled for a conservative, strong Ex condition. I have several more up for sale, including some Beatles rarities - so check out my site!
Original Vinyl 7" Single in Parlophone Company Sleeve
Year of Release - 1966
Parlophone Records R 5452
Made in Great Britain
First pressing, with "Sold in the UK" and "Recording First published" and "Parlophone Co. Ltd" text.
Condition:
Vinyl/Labels - Ex/Ex
The vinyl has a lovely sheen to it; it has obviously been extremely well looked after by the previous owner and has not been played excessively. Visually, the record is in strong Ex condition, with only the very lightest of hairlines visible under very harsh light. The audio is wonderfully sharp and clear with no playing faults to mention.
There is a very little bit of spindle trail, otherwise the Parlophone labels are in superb condition.
Parlophone Company Sleeve - VG+
The sleeve is in strong VG condition, with some light ring wear/creasing. There is a printed stamp saying "The Music Centre, Hexham".
Check out my site for more Beatles items, including the ultra rare, 1st pressing of Please Please Me LP, on the gold/black label Parlophone label!
Important Information :
Payment Policies
We are happy to combine shipping. Prompt payment is very much appreciated. Please pay within 3 days of auction ending.
I welcome new ebay members and understand everyone has to start somewhere but there have been too many non paying bidders with low feedback ratings recently: bidders with feedback less than 10 positives please get in touch prior to bidding.
Postage & Packaging
Records are packaged safely using strong stiff cardboard and extra bubble wrap to ensure they arrive in the same condition as in my description. I also remove record from outer sleeve and original inner sleeves, placing them inside polythene protective cover to prevent seam splits.
I am a record collector myself and understand the importance of safe packaging to ensure safe delivery.
Good luck and happy bidding!
