DESCRIPTION:

Hi, This is an original 1963, Red Label release of "Please Please Me" by The Beatles. Issued by EMI on the Parlophone

Label with "Ask Me Why" on the B-Side. The Catalogue Number is 45-R 4983 with the '1N' Matrix Numbers.

The Mother Stampers in the run-out grooves are 'MPT3 / 2' at 9 o'clock on both sides. Please see the example below of

how they are etched into the run-out grooves....I have also shown this in the various Pictures.

This is one of the very early pressings that 'DOES NOT INCLUDE' the text 'Made In GT. Britain' which is usually under the

Parlophone Trade Mark Logo on the Right Hand side of the label! What makes this Record such a Unique and Collectable

item is usually only the Mother Stampers ending with a '1' had the text missing! i.e 'MPT1' etc..and the error was rectified.

But this copy ends with a '3' on the A-Side etchings and a '2' on the B-Side etchings making it a Genuine 'one off'.

This is the only version I have ever seen like this!! A truly remarkable pressing error that was supposedly "corrected" when

they were still using the '1' Stampers.

The Vinyl I would grade as Good. It has no major scratches and plays quite well but has lots of hairline marks. The Labels I

would grade as Good. They still maintain a deep red shine and the silver lettering is prominent. The Push-Out centre piece

is very worn though on the A-Side (please see the pictures to make your own conclusion). On the B-Side the Centre piece

has a smear mark where it looks like some biro was removed.

The Record is housed in the Original Parlophone 'Diamond' Sleeve which has been kept in a Clear PVC Protective cover. It

will be despatched in this as well.

I have uploaded loads of Pictures so you can have a good look at exactly what you are bidding for. A Great Collector's item!

This Record does not come up for sale very often, particularly with such a unique pressing error. You could be one of only a

handful of Beatles Collectors to have such a rare item with these markings.
