The DEBUT UK lp release from the Beatles.
They were soon the No. 1 best band of the times, and the music still appeals to every new generation.
George Martin gave then a couple of days studio time, and his honest intent meant they got a good recording as possible from the short recording time!
The boys were ready!
It was a day to record all the tracks, the second to mix for the mastering.
They were starting out with this first album recording becoming very busy with gigs, TV appearances, photo and interview sessions.
Their charm was recognised by a enthusiastic young man, Brian Epstein, and his intuition was excellent - as their personalities bowled Britain over!
America was yet to 'get it' due to some old fogeys with their boring pessimistic attitudes, but when the kids heard them - all bets were off!
Here we found them still very much embedded with their rock 'n roll roots.
Some great songs, and these early MONO issues were by far the best mix - as recorded and produced at Abbey Road Studio.
NOT for collector of audiophile or pristine copies, this 60+ year old piece has seen some use! Sold As you see it - perhaps to frame or display.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades VG, general sleeve scuff and a few light lines, but still playing and sounding good.
Light crackle may be expected in quite parts, between songs.
Yellow and black PARLOPHONE Lables are VG no stains, stickers or pen.
Raised 'M T' tax code on Side Two.
The "E.J. DAY" LAMINATED 3-TAB COVER is GOOD only.
Thick card, large MONO at top right, some writing to the rear panel. Damage to the lower tab especially, where there's been some previous tape repair. Sold 'as is'.
Original lined 'EMITEX' care inner sleeve included.
