THE BEATLES
- PLEASE PLEASE ME -
RARE 1ST ISSUE MONO TWIN TRACK TAPE
LOW START PRICE - NO RESERVE!!
SUPERB PARLOPHONE 3 3/4 IPS TAPE - MONO COPY OF THIS CLASSIC ALBUM
“1, 2, 3, 4!” Paul McCartney’s shouted count launches The Beatles into the clipped, thrilling dancehall belter 'I Saw Her Standing There’. After everything that has been said about the band, imbuing them with an almost supernatural hue, it is always amazing to hear them on their debut, just a sharp, fresh, rock and roll band, the savage young Beatles. Recorded in one 12 hour session onto two track tape, the sheer accomplishment of their tight, syncopated playing and perfect harmony singing is astonishing to behold. I doubt there is a young group who could do anything comparable today.

TAPE IN NICE CONDITION
BOX IN VERY GOOD CONDITION
I do not have a tape player but the tape looks to have been barely played and the white lead in portion is clean and sharp. The box has some discolouration through handling and age, but considering how flimsy they were this is one of the better examples I have seen and is not torn or split but fully intact. These tapes are becoming very sought after by Beatles completists and is bound to be a sound investment for the future.
