Description

For sale is a genuine early 1st U.K. press of the Beatles second single Please Please Me on the Red Parlophone label.


This copy has seen a lot of play in its time, but like many 1960s records from the EMI group it plays better than it looks


Nice early 2GM/1GR stampers. Apart from spindle wear the labels are clean


Visually both sides show signs of much play, but there are no deep marks which cause any issues. The visual grading is G+

Sonically it plays as VG, with only occasional crackles noticeable at the beginning of both sides and a little surface noise in the first few seconds of side 2.


Not an audiophile copy but a genuine first press that plays through enjoyably without jumps, sticks or skips
