ORIGINAL 1963 5TH PRESSING LP
CAT. NO PMC 1202
Format: Mono
Master Matrices: XEX 421-1N/ XEX 422-1N
A 5th pressing with early MT tax code on label, as most of these will be found with the KT tax code instead. The Sleeve is the type with the darker hue photo of The Beatles.
Sleeve: Original sleeve in a Very Good Plus condition retaining its structure. Very clean with no writing imprints etc. The laminate is still glossy, colourful and uncreased. The spine is intact and has readable text. The opening side is flat. The flip-back are all intact. Has lasted remarkably well.
Inner Sleeve: Early EMI early thick card material poly-lined inner sleeve completely all intact and very clean.
The Vinyl: In Very Good Condition. The surfaces are smooth and groove wear free, still projecting a bright pressing shine on both sides. Showing play use in terms of a couple of light scratches, non-feelable hairlines, but with smooth clean surfaces, no scuffs, no warps. The item has received moderate use but has not been handled badly and is very respectable.
Lays completely flat on the turntable, heavyweight Sixties vinyl.
The Labels: Very Good Plus condition. A little visible wear to the spindle perimeter, and no major spindle location lines/ marks, or writing etc.

The Audio: An Excellent sounding copy. Plays smoothly from start to finish on each side with immense detail and crisp and clear vocals. No interruption or defects over the audio. There is only what you would expect to be noticeable as per condition:- some ticks over the audio in places, but on the whole a decent sounding copy. Crisp vocals and a strong mono bass. No crackle, jumps, skips, pops, or sticks.
