THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME Japan Vinyl w/OBI Apple EAS-80550 LP
I bought this for my personal collection circa 1980. This is the Japanese version known as the "Country Flag OBI" or "Union Jack OBI" series that was released in 1976.
I rate the cover jacket as Very Good +. Only minor creases/dings on the bottom corners prevent this from listing as NM in my eyes. (This is likely due to moving and storage over the years.)
The LP is un-played and is Near Mint. I bought this solely to add to my collection. I had a standard UK Parlophone version of the Please Please Me LP to listen to back in the day when desired.
Both the OBI and the eight-page booklet are in excellent condition. I also discovered the original "Imported Japan" sticker that was attached to the shrink wrap that I kept and tucked inside the booklet. The original clear rice paper inner sleeve for the vinyl has a small tear on the right side. I will put a new inner sleeve on the record and will include the original in the package when shipping.
Please see the photos. I am not a professional grader. I am using my best judgement per the Goldmine grading standards.
I will take extra care with packing and shipment. I will put new plastic sleeves on the outer cover and LP and will pack the LP and booklet outside of the jacket to avoid any possible seam damage during shipment. I will pack securely and ship in a Whiplash LP mailer.
