Description
Please Please Me/Ask Me Why by The Beatles on the red Parlophone label, 45-R 4983. An original 1963 first pressing, with 'Parlophone Co. Ltd' 'recording first published 1963' and 'Made in Gt. Britain' label text.
There is also a PT tax code on the side 2 centre label and another in the deadwax, which dates the actual pressing between 26th November 1962 and 1st January 1963, which is before the release date of 11th January 1963. Matrix numbers are 7XCE 17217-1N and 7XCE 17218-1N
The vinyl still has a nice shine and is in very good condition.
The original sleeve is in very good condition, but does have a number in a corner.
The centre labels are unworn and unfaded but do have a name on the front and a name and initials on the rear.
Audio is great, with just a rare crackle.
Vinyl Gradings: Mint = no signs of use. Near Mint = slight signs of use but plays as if new. Excellent = more signs of use but sound unaffected. Very Good = more marks and/or minor background noise that does not unduly detract from overall enjoyment. Good = excessively marked and/or background noise that is hard to ignore. Fair = as before plus playback sticks/skips.
Sleeve Gradings: Mint = as new. Near Mint = almost as new. Excellent = minor wear/creases evident around some corners and edges. Very good = showing more wear/creases or stains but fairly sound. Good = as before plus torn/faded.
P&P: All records are posted in custom mailers with cardboard stiffeners, although for expensive items you might prefer the added peace of mind of postal insurance, in which case please ask for a quotation as I cannot be held responsible in the event of a postal mishap. Postage combined for multiple items.
Refund Policy: Although each record is carefully play graded at moderate volume levels, please remember they are normally between 20 and 50 years old and not guaranteed to always sound like new. I cannot, therefore, offer refunds if the sound is less than perfect, especially if any audio defects were pointed out in the sales listing. However, if I have missed something vital like a jump or stick, I will refund the purchase money if notified within 7 days of the record's receipt and the record is returned to me unharmed. In any other circumstances, including postal damage/loss (unless the record is insured) all sales are final.
