Description

Welcome our Auction!
On offer today is a GOOD copy of The Beatles "Please Please Me"!
This is a genuine 1963 3rd Pressing (1st pressing on the Yellow and Black label) of the Beatles debut LP with 1st press cover (Angus McBean at the bottom right hand corner) and no "Recording first published) text on the label. And it's in surpringly good condition!
Sleeve Condition : GOOD
Record Condition : GOOD
Label Condition : GOOD
Matrix No : XEX 421-1N/ XEX 422 - 1N
Overall condition is GOOD It's getting very hard to find these very early copies now in any condition, so finding a very good transitional copy which you can play is almost unheard of now as these were generally the first copy's of this LP that people bought and completely trashed!
The Record is in good condition even though it's been obviously played and loved quite a lot, there are lots of surface marks on this but nothing deep and horrible and the good thing about these early parlophone pressings is that they were virtually indestructible! And having test played this LP on both sides the only issues are very light crackle and pops between tracks and quieter moments, THATS IT! So overall, a very nice playable copy!
The Sleeve is obviously worn with rubs, creases and wear to the flip backs, but with no splits, tears or rips it's actually very presentable! And also the fact that this is a 1st press cover (it was meant to hold black and gold issues) and this being the 1st press on the yellow and black label these issues don't usually turn up in any condition and were generally destroyed! So overall it gets a GOOD rating!
A very rare opportunity here to pick up this gem of an LP  DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!
