Condition
Vinyl- Excellent
Vinyl retains lovely sheen. There is one small feelable scratch across Tracks 5-6 Side 2 and one other visible non-feelable mark on Track 7 Side 2. Otherwise just fine hairlines.
Audio – Very Good+
Audio is clean, bright and distortion free. There is some background noise/light crackle throughout, more obvious on run in/run off and between tracks. A few light pops through the feelable scratch but plays without any sticks or skips. Still a very enjoyable listen.
Labels– Excellent+
Labels are in beautiful condition with just some minimal spindle wear to each side. No tears, stickers or writing. Rim text starts "The Parlophone Co. Ltd.." Without the "Sold in the UK…" text across the centre, has KT stamp to Side 1. All original tracks credited as McCartney – Lennon.
Sleeve– Excellent
Garrod & Lofthouse ‘patents pending’ sleeve is in nice condition with some creasing to the front cover, mainly towards the opening edge. Light storage wear to corners. Rear cover is very clean with external flipbacks showing a little dirt build up. Some light age discolouration and a little light creasing to the opening edge. Spine is very clean and fully readable.
Inner Sleeve– Very Good
The original, poly-lined, Emitex inner sleeve is in clean condition but does have creasing, a little age discolouration and splits on two edges.
OVERALL, A LOVELY EARLY MONO UK PRESSING
Record will be removed from sleeve for posting. I will always obtain proof of posting.
