A 1969 UK pressing of the debut LP from the brilliant Beatles. This album was a fantastic start, only recorded in a few hours, and basically contained all their best tunes. It was still a leap forward from their Decca audition effort that saw them turned away (Brian Poole and The Tremeloes got the contract instead).
In the studio they were the best now.
Further motivated by Brian Epstein's faith and George Martin's production abilities, the lads focused - and history was just beginning to be made!
The lads were not sure how long they'd last, even as the hit singles started stacking up and fans were enraptured.
This issue HAS the laminated flipback cover still, and 'Stereo' has been left off the top right ... as everything was now coming out in Stereo, so it was a given. This is a collectable rarity in this edition, and of course wonderful to have a super playing copy.
It's an essential album of The BEATLES releases.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades NM
Labels are in EXCELLENT CONDITION, no pen, stickers or tears. Very nice. Spindle lines only.
The FRONT LAMINATED COVER is superb EXCELLENT
flat, with lightest handling wear only.
EMI advertising inner.
A VERY tidy example, and an investment lp.
