Description
Please Please Me/Ask Me Why by The Beatles on Parlophone 45-R 4983.
Vinyl has some light hairline scratches when viewed in normal light although there are quite a few hairlines visible when viewed under a halogen light. There is a very small indentation which I have attempted to photograph which appears as a small bump on side two. This may be a presing imperfection as both sides play through well with no skips or jumps.
Both labels are clean and bright with a name in red ink written on 'A' side(see photo).
Numbers/letters are: -
'A' side MPT1 to the left with letters GD to the right.
'B' side MPT1 to the left and A to the right.
Matrix Nos. are 7XCE 17217 1N and 7XCE 17218 1N.
Original "stripey" Parlophone sleeve which has browned with age.
Overall, solid collectible copy of early press in VG condition.
Reasonable starting price with no reserve.
