Description
Welcome to my Auction, over the coming months i will be listing hand picked selections of all kinds of genre's across the board. The vast majority of these will be in pristine condition and will be sought after, hard to find or very rare Vinyl. All items will have been cleaned professionally on a Moth cleaning machine, then play tested to ensure each Vinyl is in the best condition, without defects or major flaws. Each Vinyl is then packed professionally, using the best mailers, thick card spacers and placed in a new protective sleeve. They will be sent via Recorded Uk post to ensure safe arrival. VINYL - Is graded GOOD : Side A under strong light shows moderate surface marks , and some surface scratches , most noticably on track 2 ( see play test for details ) Side B again shows light surface scuffs with one or two small marks and one small nick on track one.
PLAY TEST - Vinyl visually looks well played and as decribed has its faults , but Side A plays well considering the marks it has , the scratch on track two does'nt effect or cause a jump and the over all audio is punchy and clear. It has light background crackle in parts but certainly isnt over powering. Side B begins with a small nick that causes a skip early into track one. Then through out the rest of the tracks its much as side A with decent audio and punchy sound, light crackle in parts , but over all plays well despite its faults.
LABELS - Are graded VG and apart from wear around the center hole , they are pretty clean. No tears or stickers etc , just general wear related to numerous plays. Print is bold and clear. Labels show the DICK JAMES MUS CO credits for "saw her standing" "Misery " " Do you want to know a secret " & " There's a place " ( See photo's )
SLEEVE - Is graded VG and is strong , intact. Front laminated sleeve shows minor light creasing, pretty clean over all. Shows the large MONO on the top right and the ANGUS McBEAN photo credit but the corner is a little scuffed ( Again see photo ) The Unlaminated rear shows some wear , The flipbacks are still intact mainly , but with some damage to the bottom left. The ERNEST J DAY credit is still Visible. There is a Name and Address written in biro towards the top ( See photo's ) Spine is really in nice condition , strong and fully shows all the print.
So there we have it , by no means is this a Top example and wont command the 4 figure prices a Top example will fetch. But among its faults , is still an acceptable copy if you cant afford the best. It is what it is but as these are becoming harder to find and increasing in price , this is an oppotunity to just own one!
