Description
This is an original mono copy of The Beatles first UK LP on Parlophone "Please please me" originally released in March 1963. It is the very first pressing with Dick James Music Co credits for four of the songs. Side 1 matrix number is XEX 421-1N and XEX 422-1N on Side 2. Both black and gold labels are in Excellent condition, still glossy with just few light spider trials and the mildest of spindle wear. The vinyl itself still carries plenty of its original gloss with just light marks, graded Very Good+. The record plays a grade higher as Excellent. The very mildest of occasional light crackle between tracks in the background, no loud pops, distortion or skips . A very nice copy indeed with full rich sound. The record comes with its original EJ Day sleeve with the Angus McBean photo credit correctly in the fright hnd lower corner. The sleeve is fully intact with just a little light bruising to the corners and a tiny split to the bottom right hand corner. The reverse is clen with just mild discolouration through age and what appears to be a small amount of water staining to the far right hand corner of the sleeve. The three flipbacks are all intact nd the spine is undamaged and fully readable. Sleeve graded Very Good+. Origina EMITEX inner is Excellent. Overall an extremely nice copy of this very collectabe record. Please contact me through Ebay should you require any further info.
I have been a record collector for many years and am now selling all of my vinyl to fund a change of career. My collection runs from the 60's to the present day and consists of mostly first UK pressings, many in exceptional condition. I use strict RC gradings, with plusses and minuses to indicate slight variations from this. All records listed are cleaned first on my Clearaudio Smart Matrix and carefully played for the purpose of accurate grading on Rega Planer 3 deck with Goldring cartridge.
