The Beatles – Please Please Me

Please Please Me is the debut studio album by the Beatles. Parlophone rush-released the album on 22 March 1963 in the UK to capitalise on the success of the singles "Please Please Me", No. 1 on most lists and "Love Me Do" (No. 17).
This is the fourth mono pressing (pressed between the summer of 1963 and January 1964) of The Beatles debut album, Please Please Me. Although there are a couple of noticeable superficial marks on each side the audio is perfect throughout. Also you will be hard pushed to find a better sleeve!
Side One: I Saw Her Standing There; Misery; Anna (Go To Him); Chains; Boys; Ask Me Why; Please Please Me.
Side Two: Love Me Do; P.S. I Love You; Baby It’s You; Do You Want To Know A Secret; A Taste Of Honey; There’s A Place; Twist And Shout.
The album is on Parlophone Records, PMC 1202. Matrix side one: XEX 421-1N (stamped). Matrix side two: XEX 422-1N (stamped).

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has a couple of superficial hairline marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays like new with no distortion, jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal, if any, crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has a couple of superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays like new with no distortion, jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal, if any, crackle).
Cover (front laminated, flipback): excellent (great condition for over 50 years old, has a few light creases and a few small laminate creases).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
