Description
The Beatles, Please Please Me, Yellow and Black, Mono
The record is on Parlophone, MONO, PMC 1202. Yellow and Black label, Made in Gt.Britain, , with "The Parlophone" label text, "recording first published in 1963" but no "Sold in U.K..." text 5th Pressing
Side 1 = XEX 421-1N, 3 'over' 12/ ROG
Side 2 = XEX 422-1N, 1 'over' 11/ ROO, "KT tax code" to centre
The record is in NM condition, some light handling marks and maybe a few fine hairlines can be seen when tilted into strong light, none of which are feelable and do not effect the sound in anyway which is superb. Plays back is great with no jumps, skips or pops and only light background in between tracks.
Labels are EX, a few light close spindle marks and whitening to hole (detailed photograph below)
The sleeve is in EX Condition, slight darkening to rear opening, clean edges although the top a minor split of a few cm to center, nice clean spine. Printed and Made by Garrod & Lofthouse. Patents Pending. Small MONO
Comes with "Use Emitex" original inner sleeve, EX+
I carefully pack using professional mailers and stiffeners and listen to the customers preferred packing methods which is usually removing the record from the sleeve
