WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!! Ultrarare and hard-to-find original Stereo press released in Chile in 1964 by EMI Odeon Chilena Records, catalog number 5052, matrix numbers YEX 94-1 and YEX 95-1. Yes Sirs, ANOTHER FIND!!!

“OTRO DE LOS BEATLES” (Other Of The Beatles) was the title used in Chile for the album “Please Please Me”, the second album of The Beatles released in Chile. As you can see it has an UNIQUE cover, only used in Chile!!! This album is very rare and it’s a favorite for collectors for all the different labels used: red wine Odeon, gold Odeon, green Emi Odeon, white with black Emi Odeon, white with blue Emi Odeon, orange Emi Odeon. Remember "OTRO DE LOS BEATLES" was the title used in Chile for the album "PLEASE PLEASE ME" and we got this record in Chile housed in an exclussive and unique Picture Sleeve!!! Yes, this Picture Sleeve was never used in any other country of the whole world!!! And check the picture, this is an extremely rare press with EMI and ODEON logos in separate boxes in front and back cover!!!

And now we have got an original “OTRO DE LOS BEATLES” for you with the white label with blue EMI Odeon and text. But this pressing isn’t a typical Chilean cover made of 2 sheets kept together with an outer plastic bag, this is a solid cover. YES!!! This is a rare flip cover with front cover pasted on the cardboard!!! And this press is even rarer because of the Emi logo printed in a box above the Odeon logo!!! If you know the other Chilean issues you know the pressings with Emi and Odeon logos have a box divided in 2 parts, left for Emi and right for Odeon. But in this pressing the logos are different, they are printed in separated boxes, Emi in a little box above the Odeon box, both in front and back cover!!! Yes, yes, yes… Here it’s a REAL FIND for THE BEATLES fans and collectors again!!!, one of the hardest to find albums of THE BEATLES pressed in Chile!!! How many times have you seen this record in eBay before? Yes, you have seen “OTRO DE LOS BEATLES” before, but, Sirs, did you ever know about this flip cover with pasted front cover? How many times have you seen this cover with these separated boxed Emi and Odeon logos? WHAT A FIND!!! RARE RARE RARE… All text in this record is in Spanish but in back cover and labels song titles are in English, in back cover they are translated to English…

The flip cover is unlaminated and it’s in great VG+ condition, mostly clean (a stain in back cover), no missing parts, no rips (something very minimal in the “mouth” of the cover), no ring marks, only minimal wear (mostly in the corners) and some age browning. The record is in superb VG or VG+ condition, glossy, clean and with scuffs and some light hairlines and scratches which don’t affect sound at all. Labels on both sides are in NM- condition, absolutely clean and clear. The sound is in strong EX- or EX condition, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), only some very light crackles and clicks here and there (in “Chains” some light pops) which don’t distract at all. Overall a great record with a fabulous look and sound quality still incredible nice after more than 45 years!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
