Description:
Original UK 1963 mono fourth pressing of Please Please Me by The Beatles released on Parlophone Records.
This scarcer fourth pressing variation is identifiable by the placement of the 33 1/3 RPM text to the far left of the Parlophone logo on the labels.
The vinyl remains in very good plus condition overall with clean glossy surfaces and some light scratches visible under strong light.
Labels remain especially clean overall with moderate spindle wear visible indicating careful regular play over the years.
Playback remains particularly strong throughout with very clear loud punchy audio and only some light crackle audible in places following careful play testing.
The original Ernest J. Day sleeve remains in strong very good plus condition overall with very bright laminate still present to the front panel.
The sleeve displays only some light creasing overall and retains fully legible spine lettering.
The rear sleeve remains especially clean overall though there are a couple of light stains visible along with a tiny tear and small light stain to the lower edge area of one rear flipback flap.
Includes the correct EMI Emitex poly-lined inner sleeve.
A strong example overall of this increasingly difficult to source early UK mono Please Please Me pressing.
Carefully cleaned and fully play tested prior to listing.
