Description
On offer a copy of the Beatles 'Please Please Me' LP on the Parlophone label. The Gold style sleeve is in GOOD condition, there is creasing and corner wear as is usually the case with these covers, there's a small edge tear opposite 'Me' on the front. There are a couple of biro lines in the top front white border where a name was. On the back there is damp damage and a tape stain where the sleeve split from its wrapround, however this has been neatly taped now from the inside. There's a black felt tip squiggle on the rear. I've seen a lot worse!
The record is a clean VG minus with no major marks and I've played it throughout a couple of times - there is minor surface noise in places as you'd expect but its an enjoyable listen with no distortion. There are a few clicks on 'Boys' and more on 'Do You Want To Know A Secret' (caused by a feelable scratch across that track), but these aren't majorly obtrusive. The poly lined inner sleeve is taped down one side.
