THE BEATLES - Please Please Me Black & Gold Mono Vinyl LP Play Tested - No Jumps.
Original 1963 Black & Gold Please Please Me in VG+ Condition.
Playtested with No Skip or Jump - Great Audio, Good Clear Audio with slight background noise between tracks - Vinyl is Very Clean with Odd Mark.
Side one is VG+ - Mild Hairlines Only.
Side two is VG - Still Clean Vinyl, but one or two small marks - Playback is unaffected!
This is a Nice Clean Vinyl which while not mint, displays its age nicely, yes there are a couple of faint lines on side 2, but despite its imperfections this is still a very nice copy in VG+/VG Condition.
Comes with Original Inner Sleeve which is VG - Please note I have obtained a Near Mint Original Inner Sleeve which is included with this album.
The Sleeve IS the Original Inner Sleeve - After Some Considerable Research I Have Concluded That the Correct Version has the 'P' of 'Photo' Under the 'S' of 'Songs! - You only need look at the 'New' version available on ebay to confirm this.
Please note this is also the sleeve the album came in! I could have changed for a better sleeve, but this is the Correct Outer Sleeve please see photo's for condition (VG).
The Vinyl - Record Collector Guide States only 12,000 of this album were Pressed - Note the Early, Low Mother and Stampers - '1 PM' & '2 GO.
The Vinyl is in a Pleasing VG Condition - It's Strongest Suit is that it Plays with No Flaw - Pure Uninterupted Music - Weak Point is that there have been one or two very small touch up with felt tip pen to any white marks on the label i.e. around the spindle hole - I have annotated this in the photos and any marks on the label are clearly visible in the photos. But this is perhaps a School Boy Error, given that this is a Rare Pleasing Copy of the Black & Gold Please Please Me.
This issue is reffered to as the Second Dick James Version & is given a Book Value in the 2018 Rare Record Guide of £1200.
