THE BEATLES Please Please Me UK Parlophone PMC 1202 LP 1963 original black/gold label. EX-/Poor. Black & gold label debut 1963 Parlophone LP from the Beatles. Original mono record with side 1 matrix: XEX 421 - 1N & side 2 matrix number: XEX 422 - 1N Record label has Dick James publishing credit for Please Please Me, I Saw her Standing There, Misery & Do You Want To Know A Secret. Record housed in early 60s style Parlophone flip back sleeve manufactured by Ernest J. Day & Co. Photo on front cover is credited to Angus McBean in very small print on the bottom right hand corner of cover.. Cover has some light storage wear and a minor loss of condition but still smart with no problems, writing or taped seams. Record shows clear and obvious signs of use with a loss of luster and a build up of visible surface scratches and lighter marks. Record plays through without jumps or sticks but does have background noise and crackle
