Description

Please note - I have a reserve on this auction, which is WELL BELOW this records value and is being used as my 'insurance' only.

 

ORIGINAL 1963 MONO LP. Vinyl in VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT condition (see track listing below for further info). Cat No Parlophone PMC 1202.

ORIGINAL BLACK AND GOLD PARLOPHONE LABEL FIRST PRESSING. (Dick James credits)

Matrix numbers XEX 421-1N and XEX 422-1N. MT tax code just visible on side 1 label. Spindle wear on both labels around centre hole.

Ernest J. Day sleeve is in GOOD/VERY GOOD condition. Front cover is creased around the edges, and worn on all four corners. The spine is intact although creased and worn slightly. The bottom edge is worn slightly as has the opening edge. The top edge is worn, and torn due to an 8.50cm/2.25inch section of the flipback which is missing (see picture). The bottom flipback has a 14.50cm/6 inch strip of sellotape residue on the left hand side. There are a couple of ink smudges on the back cover. A name has been written on the front cover (next to "MONO"), on the Emitex inner sleeve, and on both record labels.

The vinyl has various light scuff marks and light scratches (which cannot be felt).............see below for more information............

Side 1 (Background crackling between tracks. A few clicks are heard during the playback of tracks 6 and 7)
