Welcome to my listings! All items are professionally cleaned before dispatch, placed in a 400gm polythene sleeve and shipped in a quality mailer with stiffeners.
Item : The Beatles Please Please Me LP Mono. Label : Black & Gold Parlophone. Issue : First pressing with "The Parlophone Co. Ltd. label rim text and "Dick James Mus. Co." publishing credits. Matrix numbers : XEX 421-1N / XEX 422-1N. Mother stampers : Side one - 1 P Side two - 1 L. Catalogue No. : PMC 1202. Country : UK. Released : 1963. Record Condition (Visual) : Side one VG- showing a few fairly long scratches one of which is feelable. However, all are entirely non-audible (see below). Apart from that there are some light hairlines and minor scuffs. Side two - VG being similar to side one but just a liitle nicer overall. Record Condition (Audio) : EX+. Stunning near perfect audio. Incredible!!! These pressings have seriously deep grooves! Sleeve Condition : VG. Correct "Angus McBean" sleeve credit under the "S" of the word "Songs". Front laminated Ernest J. Day flip-back sleeve shows general overall wear, in particular 1 cm to each corner of the edge and spine. Apart from that there is some laminate wear along the bottom edge but no splits or writing. The flip-backs are all intact although the bottom one is a little weathered. Label Condition : Side one VG- because of a small 1 cm square sticker tear to the right of the large £ sign at the top (see pic). Side two VG+. General spindle wear to both sides. Inner Sleeve / Inserts : Comes with an Emitex inner in decent shape. Comments : If you want to experience listening to a genuine first pressing of this iconic LP with incredible audio then this is the copy for you!!!
