ORIGINAL large MONO UK Vinyl LP
Ernest J Day laminate sleeve
Yellow and black labels
Silver lettering
"FIRST PUBLISHED" and
"THE PARLOPHONE CO." text.
MATRIX: xex 421-1n and xex 422 -1n
STAMPS: GOH and GPH
TAX CODE: MTK, on side 2 near spindle on label. Yes, three tax code letters, not two.
In my opinion, all above dates this as July 1963, fourth pressing.
For condition see pictures or please ask if you are not sure. I'm not a record Collector but my description would be:
Outside SLEEVE
Nice shiny look and bright colours. Laminate has few small creases at edges and scratch running across lower half of album. (See pics). Edges good all round. Very Slight wear to corners apart from bottom right corner which has the most wear. Flip-backs are excellent and sealed. The back cover has faint yellow discolouring in places. Some idiot (lol) has underlined in black Biro 2 song titles
INNER sleeve
Original EMITEX company polythene lined sleeve in good condition
VINYL
Nice audio quality, and virtually no noticeable crackle on songs. Visually excellent with only a few very light marks if examined very closely in certain strong lights. When viewed in normal daylight you'd be hard pushed to locate the marks. THE VINYL HAS BEEN REALLLY well looked after.
SIDE 1 very few very minor wear marks
SIDE 2. few marks and one small scratch on end of track 5, but when played, cannot hear any issues.
LABELS:
Lovely clean yellow/black labels. MTK embossed tax stamp on Side 2
