PARLOPHONE RED LABEL
Original 1963 issue on Parlophone with a RED label, without 'Made in Gt Britain' text. It does feature 'The Parlophone Co Ltd ' and 'Recording First Published 1963'.

Matrix numbers scratched into the run-off vinyl area are:
Side 1: 7XCE 17217-1N
Side 2: 7XCE 17218-1N
The label is in clean OK condition with all writing sharp and visible, with very feint red pen mark if looking hard. There is a slight mark on the B-side centre circle (the part that often used to be pushed out for jukebox use on 7" records, though not over any text) where a small price tag must've once been attached and with careful cleaning can probably be removed almost entirely. The vinyl is marked - particularly on the A-side - and well used, so this is not a mint record, with scuffing and surface marks, but to memory (it's not been played in 20 years!) there are no interuptions to the playback, my brother recalls, though since most potential buyers would be acquiring for the label, more for display, rather than vinyl playback, purposes.
A very early Beatles vinyl release, on rare RED label, for collector/Beatles fan.
