Description
THE BEATLES - Please Please Me (UK, Parlophone, PCS 3042, 1963) I think this is the fifth pressing in stereo of this album from 1963, the labels have "Recording first published 1963" and there is no "Sold in the UK..." text. The matrices are YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1. Side 2 has a KT tax code. This is a very nice, clean example of this edition.
Condition:
Sleeve: EX, the laminated front cover has some tiny creases at the edges and there is one "thumbnail" crease, very nice. The back is fairly clean, a couple of very light scuff lines and a few small and feint stain marks.
Disc: EX+, graded under a 100w bulb side 1 has a few very light hairlines, side 2 has just a couple of hairlines and a small mark on track 5 which doesn't affect play. The labels are clean with a few light spindle trails and the "Use Emitex" inner is present. The disc has been cleaned on a Loricraft PRC-3 vacuum cleaner, playback is very clean and surface noise is close to zero even between songs.
Please look at my other items, I have 2 other early Beatles LPs listed. I combine postage but I need to calculate them at the end of the auction, please wait for invoice.
UK post is first class signed but if the item sells for more than £50 it will be sent by special delivery at an extra cost of £6.00 to the listed postage charge, please wait for invoice. International postage is by international signed for. The disc will be well packed and removed from the sleeve.
