Description
RUNOUTS: XEX 421-1 N PL 2 / XEX 422-1 N MA 1. This should be a KT tax code record but I can only see the 'K' on side 2. I'm not completely clued into Beatles pressings but I believe this is an early pressing from 1963, printed by Ernest J. Day, not Garrod & Lofthouse. The flipback album sleeve is in relatively good condition. Top and bottom seams at opening are just beginning to split, there is corner and edge wear, but the spine remains very good. The original Emitex inner sleeve is good, although creased and a split in one side seam. Although this record has been played numurous times since its release 66 years ago, and shows some scratches and sleeve lines, audio remains good with some odd crackle and pop - mainly between tracks. There is a small jump in the 1st line of 'I Saw Her Standing There', but otherwise this record plays through very well with no other intrusive faults to note. Probably would benefit from a more professional clean than I can give it.
