Description
ALL MY FEEDBACK IS FROM THE SALE OF VINYL & A FEW CD'S.
The Beatles 1st press vinyl LP.
Record no: MONO PMC 1202, titled: Please please me. Dated 1963.
Has the Dick James publishing credits and has the rare and desirable black and gold Parlophone labels, this label I believe was only used for 4 weeks in 1963 before it changed to the yellow and black £ sign label.
Matrix nos: XEX 421 1N & XEX 422 1N. Stampers: RG & GA.
Songs are: I saw her standing there, Misery, Anna (go to him), Chains, Boys, Ask me why, Please please me.......................Love me do, P.S. I love you, Baby it's you, Do you want to know a secret, A taste of honey, There's a place and Twist and shout.
The outer E J Day laminated flipback sleeve is in VG condition, with some light ringwear to the edges and around this is slightly grubby (mainly rear) this has a firm crease to one corner a few laminate creases to the opening edge and edges, has a name written across the rear top flipback (will clean off), has a neat address written on the rear in a blank area and the flipbacks have some minor wear with the corners showing some knocking/wear, this is still pretty clean and has a good readable spine.......................The solid vinyl is to the A side in VG condition, with some signs of play, this has a few light surface marks and shows some light surface scratches (I have cleaned and played this side and there is a scratch across the whole of the A side, which causes a click for some of the revolutions, but the majority of these are difficult to hear and this still plays really well and sounds great and does not stick), the B side is in excellent condition, with a few light marks and a few minor and light scratches and this side plays really well and sounds great with just a little light background crackle in a few places (nothing much or too audible and this is not trashed) and this still has a good sheen, the gold and black Parlophone record labels are nice and clean and readable, with the centres showing some spindle wear and this comes in an Emitex diecut paper inner which is fine but has no polyliner in it..............................................Overall a nice, VG example and whoever gets this will not be disappointed..................................
