MIS-SPELT ‘DR. ROBERT’ TO SLEEVE AND SIDE 2.
TO BE PLAY TESTED NOVEMBER 21st.

First pressing August 1966. ‘Remix 11’ mispressing , with side 2 matrix XEX 606-1. Pressings with matrix numbers on side 2 other than 606-1 have a different mix for ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’. This was apparently done at the request of John, who was said to be unhappy with ‘remix’ 11, thus, later pressings have ‘remix 8’.
Black label with yellow logo and silver print. ‘Gramophone’ rim text, and ‘Sold In The U.K.’ text.
White & Black advertising inner (see below). No embossed tax code.
The labels use the Sans Serif Arial typeset, and misprint Doctor Robert as ‘Dr Robert’, whilst each song title starts on a new line. Also, each song title is followed by the song credits and then lead vocalist. Subsequent pressings changed the label design, with most of the above being altered.

VINYL APPEARANCE. VG+
Side 1.
Deep glossy sheen has been retained, with a small number of marks/hairlines etc, though nothing feelable.

Some minor signs of play, with light spindle ware, really only visible under angled light. Bright, clean, and graffiti free.
Side 2.
As side 1. Mis-spelling ‘Doctor Robert’ as ‘Dr. Robert’.
SLEEVE. VG+
The G&L flipback cover, with small mono to the front, and ‘Dr. Robert’ song credit, is VG+. Some minor creasing/shelf ware to corners, along with some creasing to front side left middle.
The rear has some ringing, and relatively minor signs of ware.
The spine is strong and easily legible.
ORIGINAL WHITE & BLACK ADVERTISING INNER. EXCELLENT.
Early copies only came with an EMI advertising inner sleeve, and this one is in excellent condition. Just a little feathering to opening, but free of creasing, seam splits or graffiti.
