THE BEATLES, REVOLVER (Capitol 2576) Alternative ‘Roger Whitaker’ sleeve

 

Revolver was released in the USA by Capitol on 8th August 1966, three days after the Parlophone UK release. Capitol used the same front and back cover as Parlophone (front cover drawn by Klaus Voorman, back cover photo by Roger Whitaker). Capitol apparently considered other designs too. This one uses colour photos from the same Roger Whitaker ‘Revolver’ session as the regular back cover. This design was later used on Capitol promotion billboards in record stores.

 

Disc has been played less than a dozen times, no scratches or jumps etc. Sleeve is in good condition.
