Description
If you're looking at this listing you probably know what this is. From the Beatles in Mono Optimal Pressings, the iconic album Revolver. I got this new and opened it to have a couple listening sessions. If you haven't heard Revolver in mono, it's got some surprises and is outstanding. Outer sleeve is still in shrink with the white hype sticker attached. Includes the booklet/insert that came with the album - everything has been very carefully handled and stored. Has the original inner sleeve which is poly lined paper. Minimal handling wear/damage - corners are nice (except for one, which is not really noticeable unless you flip it over to the back - pictured) no dents or scratches. I have to caution one thing - at first glance the disc looks pristine. However if you look very closely with a bright light there are some swirls/scuffs/markings on the disc. It does not appear to affect the sound at all but I want to be upfront about this. I tried to show it in the pictures because this doesn't show up real good. I think it was a handling or pressing issue from the factory but I can't hear that it makes any difference to the way it sounds. I've listed it as EX+ because it has been well cared for an played only a few times and might even be NM but I'm hesitant to use that grade because of the visual markings even though it came this way right out of the sleeve. There are a couple light ticks/pops but they do not repeat and may go away with a good cleaning.
