Description
Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Revolver' original 1966 mono vinyl LP in overall VERY GOOD- condition.
This particular pressing features the Sans Serif font on both labels and has the more common -2 matrix on both sides. DO NOT MISS OUT!!
Artist: The Beatles
Title: Revolver
Catalogue Number: PMC 7009
Year: 1966
Number of Tracks: 14
Matrix Numbers: -2 -2
Mother Stampers: 6RPR 5RMO
Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - lots of hairline marks and light scratches. Nothing deep that i can feel however. Currently rated as GOOD+. The label is rated as VERY GOOD-. It has very feint writing that is difficult to see and some sticker residue that is also difficult to spot and feel. Side 2 - same as Side 1 without the residue or writing on the label.
This looks like it has been well-played so may serve as a decent collection filer at the moment, hence the price.
Audio: AUDIO GRADE TO FOLLOW!!
Inner Sleeve isn't original but it is split all the way along the bottom so not great! The outer sleeve houses it very well though.
Sleeve: The original 1966 mono flipback sleeve is currently rated as VERY GOOD-. It has some wear towards the opening edge, laminate creasing, light creasing, age-related discolouration, light ringwear and some small writing on the back which is difficult to spot. There is also some damage to the bottom left flipback - PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES!! Spine is 100% readable with some creasing and light wear. Overall, not a great sleeve but not a bad sleeve! It will house the record perfectly and it still looks great and vintage for an item that is almost 50 years old!
PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES!!!
As with all the vintage records I sell, I advise a deep clean to enhance the sound quality of the record. Overall, a classic Beatles record that everyone should own!
